  • DR. HE XU(徐贺), PROFESSOR, Chief Director of IRAFS, Harbin Engineering University

    From 1990-1997 his R & D work was the electromechanical systems in Harbin Railway Bureau. From 1997-2001 in Tehran subway project he was responsible for development of the automatic robotic maintence line of railvehicles. Since 2006, in Harbin Engineering University, he engaged in robots and advanced fluid system. Now he has undertaken the projects shuch as 863, National Natural Science Foundation of China, Doctoral Fund of Ministry of Education, National Natural Science Foundation of Heilongjiang Province, etc..

  • DR. XIAO-ZHI GAO, Professor, CHIEF DIRECTOR OF IRAFS, Aalto University

    D.Sc. (Tech.) degree from Helsinki University of Technology, Finland in 1999.Docent in Aalto University, Finland from 2004.Reseach interests: computational intelligence methods with applications in optimization, data mining, and industrial electronics.Published more than 280 papers.Project leader of ’Studies on Intelligent Processing Methods for EEG/ECoG Signals in Brain-Computer Interface’ funded by Academy of Finland from 2010-2012 (326,200 €).Coordinator of collaboration between GIM Oy, Finland and Harbin Engineering University, China.

  • DR. TONG WANG , ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR, Deputy Chief Director of IRAFS, Harbin Engineering University

    He received Ph.D. and MSc. degrees in Computer Application from Harbin Engineering University in China. Reseach interests: Application and Network layer for Vehicular Networks with applications in Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS); Analysis and design of Network protocols, localization for wireless sensor networks; Development of embedded systems and prototypes for wireless communication systems (WSN/ad hoc network); Big Data Processing for network data such as Mobile Social .

  • Dr. D.W zhao, Lecture, Deputy Chief Director of IRAFS, Harbin Engineering University

    D.W Zhao received BE in precision instrument, ME and PhD degree in mechatronic engineering from Harbin Institute of Technology, China, in 1996, 2003 and 2008, respectively. Dr. Zhao’s research interests include nonlinear control, intelligent control, robust&adaptive control, and their applications in dynamic positioning of ships and robot. He has published over 10 refereed papers in technical journals and conference proceedings.

  • Dr. X.W guo, Lecture, Deputy Chief Director of IRAFS, Harbin Engineering University

    X.W guo received Ph.D. and MSc. degrees in Mechanical Design and Theory from Harbin Institute of Technology in China. Reseach interests: 1) Teaching undergraduate courses in Technology of Mechanical Manufacture、Basis of Mechanical Designing and Optimal Design of Machine. 2) Being engaging in the theoretical and experimental research on multi-body dynamics, bio-robot, metamorphic mechanisms, parallel mechanisms and parallel machine tools.

  • Dr. Y.H wei, Lecture, Deputy Chief Director of IRAFS, Harbin Engineering University

    Y.H Wei received PhD degree in Mechatronics system engineering from Harbin Institute of Technology, China, in 1996, 2003 and 2008, respectively. Dr. Wei work as a lecturer of Precision instrument and machinery at Harbin Engineering University, and teach "Aided Design of Mechanical Structure" and "Design of Precision Instrument Structure".

  • Dr. Eric Coatanéa, Professor, Tampere University of Technology

    Eric Coatanéa is currently tenured professor in Tampere University of Technology and Adjunct professor in Grenoble University (INP Grenoble). Eric Coatanéa has received is double doctoral degree in Engineering design in October 2005 from Helsinki University of Technology in Finland (nowadays Aalto University) and from University of West Brittany (France). Before embarking in doctoral studies, Eric Coatanéa has worked during 11 years has a manufacturing engineering teacher in University of West Brittany.

  • DR. Sarayut Nonsiri, DSc (Tech)

    Sarayut Nonsiri (DSc (Tech) is a researcher and software developer in Dynavio company. He has a background in Computer Science and Systems Engineering. His research work focuses on investigating in both theory and application for modeling and simulation during the early stages of the design process, model-based systems engineering, big data, computation algorithm, and artificial intelligence areas.
